What's hotter than actor, writer, and director Ethan Hawke? The soundtrack to his upcoming movie, The Hottest State. We're talking Norah Jones, Willie Nelson, Emmielou Harris, Rocha and Cat Power just to name a few. Grammy-winning songwriter/singer Jesse Harris composed the score and wrote all the music for the soundtrack. He even appears in the movie and serves as the co-producer along with Hawke. This killer soundtrack has sixteen songs, plus two score passages recorded exclusively for the film. While the movie isn't released until the end of August, you can count on me to be in line on August 7th when this soundtrack is released.
